Billy Paul - Biography

Billy Paul died April 24, 2016 of Cancer. He was best known for his huge hit "Me & Mrs. Jones," though many of his early to mid 1970s records are worth pursuing as they contain a great fusion of jazz, blues, soul, and gospel, with an extra lining of the political, spiritual, and personal. He was a unique stylist and deserving of more attention than simply being known as a one hit wonder.
