Shadowboxer (CD)

Amoeba Review

Sydney electro-pop group Mansionair charms on their debut full-length, Shadowboxer, an intriguing blend of dance pop synths and post-punk revival vocals. Each track seems perfectly calibrated to reach hit song status, with anthemic choruses, melancholy vocals, and addictive melodies. Made to be played loud, Shadowboxer is that rare album that sounds just as good at home in your room as it does in the middle of the dancefloor. An intriguing debut from an indie electro band that’s getting a lot of buzz — and has clearly earned it.
