Eton Alive (LP)
Sleaford Mods
Amoeba Review

English duo Sleaford Mods are back with Eton Alive, another intelligent, take-no-prisoners punk banger. The first release on the band’s Extreme Eating label, the album takes on the mess of modern society with mordant lyrics and aggressive melodies. Backed by multi-instrumentalist Andrew Fearn’s propulsive bass and woozy synths, lead single “Kebab Spider” takes on capitalism and poor quality meat via vocalist Jason Williamson’s typically caustic wit. Punk’s not dead; punk is Sleaford Mods.
